BACKGROUND
My first job was at McDonalds, window 1 of the drive-thru. It was the perfect job: speaking to people all day about the food I loved.
After University came stints in recruitment and management consultancy.
In 2011 I moved to California-based asset manager PIMCO as an Executive Assistant. I shared some insights on the experience here.
After 3 promotions, I left PIMCO for Fitch Ratings. At Fitch I was fortunate to create relationships with key global investors like Blackrock, Vanguard, Blackstone, and conveinently – PIMCO.
I’ve been at S&P since 2019, building relationships with senior executives from the world of finance and investment.
Whether talking Big Macs with locals or Bitcoin with Billionaires, the skills needed to build relationships remain the same.
I try best to put these skills into practice as much as possible.
